Situated on 120 acres of beautiful, forested land in Cornwall, PA, YMCA Camp Rocky Creek provides day and overnight camping experiences, environmental and adventure education, and community events to youth and families. We are committed to quality, safety, affordability and accessibility.

Our History
Steeped in tradition, YMCA Camp Rocky Creek was previously known as YMCA Camp Shand. Prior to Camp Shand, it was Camp Kiwanis. In 2021, the Lebanon YMCA partnered with the Lebanon County Commissioners to continue to operate the camp and to keep it within our community. Today, our purpose is to improve the quality of life in our community by offering programs, services and facilities that promote strong families, good health, fitness, wellness, community services, child and adult development with equality for all.

Adventure Day Camp 2026
Camp Rocky Creek offers a great way for your child to spend their summer in a safe and fun outdoor environment, even if they aren’t ready for an overnight experience.
Our day campers will be grouped together by age at the start of the camp week and will participate in some activities, like pool & lunch, with their assigned group. Campers will have the chance to sign up for their favorite activities, led by our camp activity specialist, including outdoor living skills, arts & crafts, challenge course, target sports and more!
Each week will have a different theme so campers can attend all summer and find something different each week!
Camp Details
- Offered Monday-Friday
- Available for campers 6-13 years old (Must have completed Kindergarten)
- Lunch & Snack is included.
Day Camp Add On
- Wednesday Sleepovers available week 2,3,6,7 & 9
- Transportation to and from Camp Rocky Creek
- Areas include Lebanon, Palmyra, East Petersburg & Lancaster
- Please note that some weeks/locations are on a waitlist
- Extended Care Hours (Drop off as early as 7:30 am, Pick up as late as 5:30 pm)

Scholarships
The YMCA has made a commitment not to turn anyone away due to the inability to pay. We want youth to experience everything camp has to offer, so if you cannot afford the cost of our lowest tier, you can apply for additional assistance by completing a YCRC Financial Assistance application. Week 1, June 8 – 12: Race Into Summer
School is out, summer is in! Race into Summer by making new friends, reconnecting with the old, and discovering new adventures together.
Week 2, June 15 – 19: Summer Flashback
Revisit your favorite games, activities, and traditions this summer! Join our staff as we look back at the camp history, discover camp secrets and imagine the future!
Week 3, June 22 – 26: Myths & Legends
Adventure to faraway lands during this fantasy themed summer camp! Campers will enter a world of imagination, filled with fairy tales, fantasy, and the enchanting magic of make-believe!
Week 4, June 29 – July 3: Holidays
It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Camp! All our favorite holiday activities will be packed into this week-long celebration. Whether it’s spooky or sparkly, joyful, or jolly, you’ll have a blast celebrating each day with your camp friends!
Week 5, July 6 – 10: Camp Carnival
Step right up for a week of carnival excitement. From obstacle courses to face painting, and carnival games, this week promises non-stop fun and laughter.
Week 6, July 13 – 17: Frontier Fun
Always a camper favorite, this week is all about cowboys, bandits, and rip-roaring fun. Camp’s most popular game, Gold Rush, gives campers a chance to find some gold and use it to buy camp snacks and prizes! Just watch out for all those “Bandits”! They are always trying to steal your gold!
Week 7, July 20 – 24: Foxes, Turtles, Beavers…Oh My
Campers will explore the fascinating world of animals and nature. With a roar of excitement, this week is all about connecting with the great outdoors and learning about the incredible creatures that share our planet.
Week 8, July 27 – 31: Move to Your Own Beat
Dive into a week of fun as we explore the magic of music, dancing, and talents! Don’t miss the chance to showcase your skills and have a blast with friends!
Week 9, Aug 3 – 7 Ultimate Survivor
Embark on an exciting journey to become the ultimate camp survivor! Campers will take on challenges, practice their skills, and adventure across camp to test their teamwork, creativity, and endurance.
Week 10, Aug 10 – 14 Summer Bucket List
It’s the Final Week of Camp! Check off your “bucket list” with classic camp experiences, making this a week to remember. From outdoor explorations to creative challenges, this week is all about making the most of our summer together! Let’s create unforgettable memories and make this last week the best!
Cancelations & Refunds
The One Time Application Fee of $25 and the weekly camp deposit of $25 per camp week is nonrefundable.
The rest of the camp registration fee is refundable until June 1. After June 1, any registration fees that were paid are nonrefundable. Please contact the Camp Rocky Creek to cancel your program. No refunds are given to children sent home from camp for behavioral issues. Campers leaving early due to a parent/guardian decision are not eligible for refunds.

Creepy Camp 2026
Halloween campers get ready for spooky fun!
Camp Rocky Creek is bringing back an old favorite Creepy Camp!
Camp is where the magic of the season comes alive! Designed for campers 8 – 15 years old, this overnight experience combines spooky fun with beloved camp traditions. This overnight is a great introduction to camp programs and a wonderful way to enjoy Halloween-themed activities in a positive atmosphere, fostering friendships and creating unforgettable memories in a safe environment.
We will have a costume contest! Campers are welcome to bring their favorite costumes for the evening

Family Camp Fall 2026
Reconnect, Recharge, and Create Lasting Memories

Bring the family out to Camp Rocky Creek this fall for an outdoor adventure!
Event Details:
Saturday Oct 10 @ 9 am – Sunday Oct 11 @ 11 am
All members of your family (except under 2) must be registered on this system. If you have an under two year old please contact us to let us know.
A $15 deposit per person is due at the time of registration. The remainder of the registration fees are due 1 week before the program.
Families will be required to complete a Family Camp Medical Form, that will be emailed to you the week before the program.
Family Camp offers several participation options. Please choose what best fits your family:
- Day Only Family Camp (Open to All Ages) : $45 per person (campers under 2 free)
- 9 am – 5 pm
- Includes Lunch & Snack
- Includes sign up activity options run by Camp Staff & Volunteers
- Overnight Family Camp (Open to Adults & Campers 5 years old or older)
- Bring Your Own Tent – $60 per person
- Overnight in Cabin (share with 1 other family) – $75 per person
- Overnight in Cabin (private) – $95 per person
- All Overnight Family Camps Include:
- 9 am – 11 am

*Cabins are open air or closed windowed cabin spaces. We do not change clothing inside our cabin spaces due to these windows, and require all participants to change in the shower house located near the cabin villages.
*Cabins include 5 bunk beds each (total of 10 beds)

Teen Adventure Camp 2026
Our teen adventure camp provides a small group format, allowing them to learn as a team and help plan their adventures. With positive staff role models who know how to keep teens challenged, engaged and having fun, this program builds self-confidence and leadership skills. Space is limited, remember to register early.
Teen’s arrival and departure times will follow the Adventure Day Camp Schedule above. The rest of their days will vary based on group interest and counselor’s planned activities.
