Situated on 120 acres of beautiful, forested land in Cornwall, PA, YMCA Camp Rocky Creek provides day and overnight camping experiences, environmental and adventure education, and community events to youth and families.  We are committed to quality, safety, affordability and accessibility.

Our Mission:

As a branch of the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA, Camp Rocky Creek strives to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Our Goals:

  • Increase campers understanding and use of our 4 Core Values: Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility.
  • Increase camper self-esteem and independence
  • Help campers make new and lifelong friends
  • Connect campers to our natural world
  • Help campers learn new skills
  • Be safe and have fun

Our History

Steeped in tradition, YMCA Camp Rocky Creek was previously known as YMCA Camp Shand. Prior to Camp Shand, it was Camp Kiwanis. In 2021, the Lebanon YMCA partnered with the Lebanon County Commissioners to continue to operate the camp and to keep it within our community. Today, our purpose is to improve the quality of life in our community by offering programs, services and facilities that promote strong families, good health, fitness, wellness, community services, child and adult development with equality for all.

Our Commitment to Diversity:

YMCA Camp Rocky Creek believes that a diversified population adds beauty and value to your life. Acting on this belief, we seek to serve and provide programs to children and families of all abilities and backgrounds knowing that doing so enriches the camp experience for all. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment that is free of acts of discrimination or harassment against any individual.
