Camp Rocky Creek offers a great way for your child to spend their summer in a safe and fun outdoor environment, even if they aren’t ready for an overnight experience.

Our day campers will be grouped together by age at the start of the camp week and will participate in some activities, like pool & lunch, with their assigned group. Campers will have the chance to sign up for their favorite activities, led by our camp activity specialist, including outdoor living skills, arts & crafts, challenge course, target sports and more!

Each week will have a different theme so campers can attend all summer and find something different each week!

Camp Details 

• Offered Monday-Friday
• Available for campers 6-13 years old (Must have completed Kindergarten)
• Lunch & Snack is included.

Day Camp Add On 

• Wednesday Sleepovers available week 2,3,6,7 & 9
• Transportation to and from Camp Rocky Creek
  • Areas include Lebanon, Palmyra, East Petersburg & Lancaster
• Extended Care Hours (Drop off as early as 7:30 am, Pick up as late as 5:30 pm)

School is out, summer is in! Race into Summer by making new friends, reconnecting with the old, and discovering new adventures together.

Week 2, June 15 – 19: Summer Flashback

Revisit your favorite games, activities, and traditions this summer! Join our staff as we look back at the camp history, discover camp secrets and imagine the future!

Week 3, June 22 – 26: Myths & Legends

Adventure to faraway lands during this fantasy themed summer camp! Campers will enter a world of imagination, filled with fairy tales, fantasy, and the enchanting magic of make-believe!

Week 4, June 29 – July 3: Holidays

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Camp! All our favorite holiday activities will be packed into this week-long celebration. Whether it’s spooky or sparkly, joyful, or jolly, you’ll have a blast celebrating each day with your camp friends!

Week 5, July 6 – 10: Camp Carnival

Step right up for a week of carnival excitement. From obstacle courses to face painting, and carnival games, this week promises non-stop fun and laughter.

Week 6, July 13 – 17: Frontier Fun

Always a camper favorite, this week is all about cowboys, bandits, and rip-roaring fun. Camp’s most popular game, Gold Rush, gives campers a chance to find some gold and use it to buy camp snacks and prizes! Just watch out for all those “Bandits”! They are always trying to steal your gold!

Week 7, July 20 – 24: Foxes, Turtles, Beavers…Oh My

Campers will explore the fascinating world of animals and nature. With a roar of excitement, this week is all about connecting with the great outdoors and learning about the incredible creatures that share our planet.

Week 8, July 27 – 31: Move to Your Own Beat

Dive into a week of fun as we explore the magic of music, dancing, and talents! Don’t miss the chance to showcase your skills and have a blast with friends!

Week 9, Aug 3 – 7 Ultimate Survivor

Embark on an exciting journey to become the ultimate camp survivor! Campers will take on challenges, practice their skills, and adventure across camp to test their teamwork, creativity, and endurance.

Week 10, Aug 10 – 14 Summer Bucket List

It’s the Final Week of Camp! Check off your “bucket list” with classic camp experiences, making this a week to remember. From outdoor explorations to creative challenges, this week is all about making the most of our summer together! Let’s create unforgettable memories and make this last week the best!

Looking for a short and sweet summer camp experience? Res-light camp is a 2-night adventure designed for campers who want a taste of camp life without committing to a full session. Running Sunday – Tuesday, this program is perfect for first-time campers, those with busy summer schedules, or families looking for a more affordable camp option.

Res -Light camp is available for those who are ages 8-10 years old.

• TIER B: This tier is partially subsidized through funding from donors. Please participate at this level if it is right for your family.
• TIER C: This tier is more heavily subsidized through funding from donors. Please participate at this level if it keeps camp affordable for your family.

At the time of registration, all participants owe the $50 deposit (per week, per camper) and a one time $25 registration fee per camper. All other fees are due two weeks before the start of your camp session.

Overnight Camp is the perfect opportunity for your child to immerse themselves in all aspects of camp! While camp is structured, it allows each child the independence to design their schedule. There are different opportunities where they will spend time with their cabin mates and will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities like creative arts, athletics, environmental discoveries, paddle sports, high adventure, swimming, target sports and more!

Campers will be exposed to a rustic camping, staying in cabins for the week, and build their confidence while exploring a breathtaking outdoor environment. This unplugged experience will bring long-lasting friendships and a lifetime of memories.

Camp Counselors may stay in the cabin with the campers or in the cabin next to their assigned campers based on campers age and cabin space available. All cabins will have at least 1 assigned counselor who will provide leadership, support and guidance throughout their camp week.

Overnight camp is available for those who are ages 8-13 years old.

How to Prepare

• Remember to review the summer camp session options before joining us at this event!
• Please wear closed toed shoes. We will be walking on a gravel camp roads during our tours.
• Not registered yet? That’s okay! We can help you register you that day!

Our teen adventure camp provides a small group format, allowing them to learn as a team and help plan their adventures. With positive staff role models who know how to keep teens challenged, engaged and having fun, this program builds self-confidence and leadership skills. Space is limited, remember to register early.

Teen’s arrival and departure times will follow the Adventure Day Camp Schedule above. The rest of their days will vary based on group interest and counselor’s planned activities.

Designed specifically for teens for teens, this program takes resident camp to the next level. Days and nights are filled with adventure-based programs, challenging and plenty of time with their village & friends. Each session will include a practice camp on Monday evening at one of camp fields, and an overnight away from the village & off camp activities.

Week 7 Offsite Camp Out: Foxes, Turtles, Beavers…Oh My

Teen Extreme campers will adventure out to a State Park on Wednesday morning to set up their group camping tent site! Campers will cook their meals over the campfire or with camping equipment and will spend a day and night at the park exploring the trails and other park opportunities! Campers will return to Camp Rocky Creek on Thursday before lunch.

Week 9 Offsite Camp Out: Ultimate Survivor

During the final overnight camp, Teens Extreme campers will hike out on the Camp trails or on Wednesday morning and will set up a full campsite away from their camp village. Campers will learn survival techniques that may include topics like basic first aid, plant & animal identification, and orienteering! Campers will return to Camp Rocky Creek on Thursday before lunch.

Camp will provide the tents and campsite equipment required for these campouts. Participants will utilize their own sleeping bags but can request a sleeping bag from camp if needed.

Teen Extreme Resident camp is available for those who are ages 13-15 years old.
